This is a gorgeous King George VI (1936-1952) oak chest of Drawers suspect it would have been armed forces barracks accommodation furniture. Finished in a Danish oil, looking understated. Oak top, drawer fronts and frame. Very sturdy

ConditionFinished in a Danish oil, some very faint marks, two very small repairs may even have been there from new and a tiny bit of veneer missing on left side at bottom (see images).
